Owner Carole Kropscot’s qualifications include photography, Photoshop, music, and two university degrees. She has a special knack for combining photos, videos, and music into an interesting show.

It takes more than photos and software programs to create a good slideshow. Nowadays, many people make their own and don't realize there's a professional alternative. Carole's shows have the added appeal of professionalism, expert Photoshop use, and music experience. Previously, she made slideshows when they were 35mm slides in carousel trays without transitions or any special effects.

Carole graduated from the University of Michigan and the University of Chicago and taught French. She has also taught photography and computers. Carole has been a member of Professional Photographers of America and has been an active member in the Photographic Society of America (www.psa-photo.org) since 1977. She writes monthly photo articles for the PSA Journal, a publication distributed by snail-mail worldwide to all PSA members. These articles are also available online to PSA members. Anyone interested in photography is welcome to join PSA. Carole highly recommends it!

Your photos are put through Photoshop to ensure they look their best. This is very important to Carole who wants her shows to have the trademark of really good looking photos.

Music "makes" the DVD photo shows. Carole's background in music helps her make the photos move appropriately to the music. She plays the piano and took courses at the Berkeley School of Music in Boston.

Carole has been very active in camera clubs, developed websites, produced hard copy and Internet newsletters, helped with photograph exhibits, and given numerous programs for club meetings.

The top-of-the-line slideshow software is Photodex ProShow Producer. Carole prefers this program since it was made to create videos from still photos. Yet, video clips can be added when desired. Unlimited special effects!
